Walter Bernard Jenkins (December 9, 1930 – April 28, 2021) was an American football defensive lineman who played one season with the Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Wayne State and was selected by the Lions in the ninth round of the 1955 NFL draft.[1][2] He was also a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union.[3] Jenkins died on April 28, 2021, at the age of 90.[4]
