La Third Division 1957-1958 è stato il 31º campionato inglese di calcio di terza divisione, il 30º con la suddivisione in 2 gironi (North e South). Ad aggiudicarsi il titolo ed a salire in Second Division furono: Scunthorpe & Lindsey United (Third Division North) e Brighton & Hove Albion (Third Division South).

Questa fu l'ultima edizione della Third Division su base regionale, a partire dalla stagione successiva, il campionato divenne infatti a carattere nazionale, con la formazione di un girone unico in cui ebbero accesso le squadre classificate dal 2º al 12ºposto dei due gruppi, oltre alle due retrocesse dalla Second Division. Mentre i club posizionati dal 13º al 24ºposto, vennero relegati nel nuovo torneo di Fourth Division.
