Critical reception

[edit]

On AllMusic Timothy Monger said, "Captured at one of their regular haunts, San Francisco's Winterland Ballroom, on the night of Saturday, February 23, this blazing gig heralds the dawn of the band's fabled Wall of Sound PA system, resulting in a clear, clean recording of era classics like "Row Jimmy", "Stella Blue", and "Eyes of the World" from their 1973 studio set Wake of the Flood."[4]
