Memphis
Memphis (Graece Μέμφις) est urbs antiqua Aegypti, hodie ruinosa, olim caput nomi Memphitici omnisque regni Aegypti ad Nilum non procul ab extremo delta fluminis ad septentrionem versa. Necropolis urbana iuxta vicum Saqqāra appellatum reperitur.
Memphis est sedes episcopalis titularis Ecclesiae Catholicae Romanae.
