Notes

[edit]
  1. ^ Teams from Sierra Leone played their home matches in Liberia, since their only stadium which satisfies the criteria of hosting international matches - the Siaka Steven Stadium in Freetown is undergoing long term renovations.[34][35]
  2. ^ Al Merrikh play their group stage home matches at Martyrs of February Stadium, Benghazi (Libya), instead of their regular home stadium Al Merrikh Stadium, Omdurman, which did not meet CAF requirements.
  3. ^ The CR Belouizdad v Al Merrikh match was played at 19 May 1956 Stadium, Annaba, instead of 5 July Stadium, Algiers, due to the high intensity of matches in the same period at the stadium.
