Deyhuk District (Persian: بخش دیهوک) is in Tabas County, South Khorasan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Deyhuk.[3]
History
[edit]Tabas County became a part of Yazd province in 2001,[4] transferring to South Khorasan province in 2013.[5]
Demographics
[edit]Population
[edit]At the time of the 2006 National Census, the district's population was 8,200 in 2,303 households.[6] The following census in 2011 counted 10,263 people in 2,759 households.[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the district as 9,834 inhabitants in 2,854 households,[2] by which time the county had been separated from the province to join South Khorasan province.[5]
