Guruprasad (2 November 1972 – November 2024) was an Indian actor and director in the Kannada film industry. His debut as a director was the 2006 film Mata which became a cult hit and his second film as a director is Eddelu Manjunatha.[1] Both the films were received with positive reviews and were considered for many award categories. He was known for portraying satire in a realistic way on the screen.[2]
Between 1–2 November 2024, Guruprasad died. Madanaiyakanahalli; his body was found on 3 November.[3][4][5]
