The total estimated value of the orders is 120.5 million dollars.[52][53] In September 2024, the Ministry of Defence requested Parliament's approval for another 44 AAV-7, the price of which totals 210 million dollars.[54]

Self-propelled artillery
K9 Tunet Self-propelled artillery  Republic of Korea 0/54 On 19 June 2024, it was announced that the K9, Romanian version "Tunet", was selected as the winner in the contract bid launched in 2023.[103][104] Ammunition consisting of 18,000 artillery shells including explosive, smoke, illumination and training rounds are also part of the contract.[105] Production will start in Korea with the first 18 vehicles fully manufactured there. The other 36 K9s will be assembled in Romania.[106]

The Ministry of National Defence has secured government approval to seek parliamentary consent for acquiring 200 additional PAC-2 GEM-T missiles for the MIM-104 Patriot systems, totaling over one billion euros. The procurement contract is set to commence in 2024.[164] One Patriot battery was donated to Ukraine.[165] The donated battery will be replaced, with Romania only having to pay $60 million in taxes and commissions.[166]

With Norway, Germany, Italy, Czechia ordering the Leopard 2A8, the production will ramp up.[229]

 Romania Offshore patrol vessel 2 Romania also aims to buy two offshore patrol vessels similarly armed to corvettes in order to address the urgent needs of the navy. The two vessels are intended to be equipped with US systems, including the Combat Management System, armament, radars, and sonars. The ships will be constructed in the country, with the likely candidate company being Damen.[184] The two ships are estimated to cost 300 million euros.[170]

 United Kingdom Minehunter 1 Both Blyth and Ramsey were decommissioned in a joint ceremony at Rosyth on 4 August 2021.[253] Following a refit by Babcock both vessels were initially earmarked for the Ukrainian Navy to "enjoy a fresh lease of life in the Black Sea".[254][255] In October 2022 it was reported that both ships would be transferred to the Romanian Navy instead.[256][257] However, in September 2023 it was announced that Pembroke was sold to the Romanian Navy instead and will be transferred during spring 2024.[258][259]

Satellites
Military communications satellite system[233] Communications satellite  Romania 1 Romania is to start the acquisition procedure of a military satellite intended for communications in 2024.[262] It was noted at BSDA 2024 that Israel Aerospace Industries will provide the Romanian military with satellite systems and discussions were held with the COMOTI Institute [ro] for fulfilling the offset agreement.[263]
