Marc Koch (born 24 May 1994) is a German sprinter. He was the German national indoor champion over 400 metres in 2017. He won a bronze medal in the Men's 4 x 400m relay at the 2024 European Athletics Championships.[1]

Career

He was a bronze medalist at the 2015 European Athletics U23 Championships in Tallinn in the men's 4x400m relay.[2]

He became the German national indoor champion over 400 metres in February 2017 in Leipzig.[3] Subsequently, he competed at the 2017 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Belgrade in March 2017.[4]

He set a new personal best for the 400 metres of 46.10 in Regensburg in May 2024.[5] That month, he ran as part of the Men’s 4x400m relay team at the 2024 World Relays Championships in Nassau, Bahamas which qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympics.[6]

He ran as the German team that won bronze at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome in June 2024.[7]

Personal life

From Berlin, he and his wife Saskia run a coffee roasting business.[8]
