Now Deh Khanduz (Persian: نوده خاندوز)^[a] is a city in, and the capital of, Cheshmeh Saran District of Azadshahr County, Golestan province, Iran.^[4] It also serves as the administrative center for Khormarud-e Jonubi Rural District.^[5]^[b]

Demographics

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the city's population was 2,095 in 562 households.^[6] The following census in 2011 counted 3,032 people in 915 households.^[7] The 2016 census measured the population of the city as 2,989 people in 959 households.^[2]
