Ponnamaravathi is a town in Pudukkottai district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.[1][2] The town holds the status of Taluk. It is located 37 km from the district headquarter Pudukkottai and 410 km from state capital Chennai.
An ancient burial site was discovered in 2022.[3]
