Singara Chennai (transl. Beautiful Chennai)[1] is a 2004 Indian Tamil-language drama film directed by K. Dharman and starring Kalabhavan Mani, Rathi and Abhinay.

Production[edit]
The film was first announced in July 2003 with Prasanna in the lead role, produced by E. Sandip and E. Surya for their banner '7 Hill SS Cinema', cinematography by Ramnath Shetty and editing by K. Thanikachalam, but ultimately went through a change of cast and crew.[2][3] In spite of the cast change, Kalabhavan Mani and Rathi remained a part of the cast.[4] The sets are designed by Suresh Merlin, and the stunts are choreographed by Kanal Kannan, who doubled up as an actor.[3] The film's story was written by A. Viswanath while dialogues were written by Ezhumalai.[5]
Soundtrack[edit]
Soundtrack was composed by Karthik Raja.[6] The audio was released under the label Bayshore.[7]
