Tammy Wynette Remembered is a compilation album marking the tribute to Tammy Wynette, who died on April 6, 1998 at the age of 55. It was released on Asylum Records on September 8, 1998, featuring covers of Wynette's songs collaborating with country and pop stars including Elton John, Wynonna Judd, Faith Hill, Melissa Etheridge, Rosanne Cash, Trisha Yearwood, K.T. Oslin, Lorrie Morgan, George Jones, Sara Evans, Emmylou Harris, Linda Ronstadt, Anna and Kate McGarrigle, and Brian Wilson on the final recording of Tammy's career before her death.[2] The album peaked at number 18 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and number 111 on the all-genre Billboard 200.[3]
