Does this template focus only on supporters of the League or all the forces who participated in the independence movement from the areas that are now Pakistan? I ask because I note that a certain prominent Pakistani activist is missing. Hornplease 14:21, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Colour
[edit]May I inquire the wisdom behind this? As far as I know, there is no policy forbidding the use of colours on templates. We have hundreds, if not thousands, of navigation templates that use colour schemes. It may have been a different thing if no purpose was served by colour, but in this context the template uses Pakistan green which is quite relevant to the Pakistan Movement. - Seems covered in the appropriate article: Pakistan green. It's not appropriate to give wp:undue weight to this navbox in the presence of others that are standard, it is not appropriate to clutter up the markup of the template with clutter (especially deprecated markup like <font>. It is not appropriate to mask the standard blue of the link in the title which is done to indicate that it /is/ a link. That's not even "Pakistan green" (which is #006600; ), it's raw "Green (HTML/CSS color)" (#006600; ). And the flag is there, offering the colours. Yes, there are others using colours as backgrounds, but they are routinely fixed. It's always nationalism, sports, and television driving this, too. Br'er Rabbit (talk) 10:02, 16 August 2012 (UTC)
