To get some practice editing you can use a sandbox. You can create your own personal sandbox for use any time. It's perfect for working on bigger projects. Then for easy access in the future, you can put {{My sandbox}} on your userpage.
Please remember to:
- Always sign your posts on talk pages. You can do this either by clicking on the
button on the edit toolbar or by typing four tildes ~~~~at the end of your post. This will automatically insert your signature, a link to your talk page, and a timestamp. - Leave descriptive edit summaries for your edits. Doing so helps other editors understand what changes you have made and why you made them.

Welcome and thank you for your requests at WP:AFC/C! Since you are now autoconfirmed, you can create categories yourself! Just make sure to follow the guidelines at WP:CAT when doing so. Your previous requests have been good, so I assume you will do fine on your own. Of course you are still welcome to submit categories on the AfC page if you are unsure.

- Thanks for approving several new categories for me and the welcome text. Due to prior experiences both logged and anon across decades, my edits (mostly to categories and templates) have often been prejudicially criticized followed up by sweeping reversions and then blocks of weeks or months that discourage me for months or years. As there is talk of both the feature you mentioned and redirect creation being ended, I shall still vet ideas with those like you, at least till I quit once more. Feel free to contact me again.
