Notability tags added to articles that have been to AfD

[edit]

Hi TenPoundHammer. I've removed notability tags you placed on Bobb'e Says and Neighborhood Sessions because both topics are notable based on the sources I provided at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Bobb'e Says (closed as "no consensus") and Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Neighborhood Sessions (closed as "keep"). Were you aware of these AfDs when you added the tags? When adding notability tags to articles that have been to AfD and not been deleted, please explain on the talk page why you think the topics are not notable (as long as doing so complies with the advice given in Guerillero's closing statement here). Thank you. Cunard (talk) 09:01, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah, I tend to forget to check talk pages a lot. Ten Pound Hammer(What did I screw up now?) 16:18, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the explanation. I recommend trying to remember to check the talk page and the page history. I try to do that when evaluating a proposed deletion request to understand the full history of the article. Cunard (talk) 05:19, 24 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

Bad source on Silverada article

[edit]

Hi Ten Pound Hammer, I noticed you recently removed a source I added to the tours section of the Silverada article (this edit specifically). I'm still fairly new around here, so just for my understanding could you please mention why this was a bad source? I thought it was a good source since it included an image of the band's official poster for the tour (the same poster was shared by the band on their social media). I've read in the Wikipedia guidelines that Facebook links aren't recommended, so that's why I tried to find a different source for the tour dates. FlawdaKid (talk) 22:29, 23 June 2025 (UTC)[reply]

@FlawdaKid: According to Wikipedia:WikiProject_Albums/Sources#Generally_unreliable_sources, Saving Country Music may not be used as a source on Wikipedia, as Saving Country Music has no editors (it's a one man blog) and a tendency to post inflammatory content.
