February 2020

[edit]

Hello, I'm Bagumba. Your recent edit to the page Clint Capela appears to have added premature information about a reported sports transaction, so it has been removed for now. The transaction is based on anonymous sources and/or awaiting an official announcement. If you believe the transaction has been completed, please cite a reliable source or discuss your change on the article's talk page. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. —Bagumba (talk) 09:36, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Lol okay, thanks. Veddernarian (talk) 13:54, 24 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ralph Tropiano moved to draftspace

[edit]

An article you recently created, Ralph Tropiano, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ~ Amkgp 💬 14:42, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

I added references and submitted for review however I'm still learning how to build and create pages, feel free to help me. Thank you. Veddernarian (talk) 16:05, 19 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Ralph Tropiano

[edit]

Hello, Veddernarian. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Ralph Tropiano".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia! UnitedStatesian (talk) 17:08, 20 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Deals have to be announced by the team/league to be official. This particular deal has not been officially completed, it is just reported. That’s why there is a note at the top of the article. Please wait until this trade is announced by at least one of the teams involved. Thanks. Rikster2 (talk) 12:45, 15 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Foxtrot Zulu

[edit]

Hi! Please do not add to closed discussions, such as you did at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Foxtrot Zulu. Undoing the closer's removal of the AfD template also does not re-open the discussion, it is considered disruptive editing. You would need to start a entirely new AfD discussion if you feel strongly that consensus in that discussion was wrong. I think you should keep two things in mind. One, you need a VERY strong reason to renominate an AfD discussion that was just closed as anything other than "no consensus" and two, the argument you gave (post-close) is not very strong. You would need to give highly compelling, detailed reasons why the sources presented by the "keep" arguments do not count towards GNG. I hope that helps, and happy editing. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 13:14, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Very well. I just found the page to be ridiculous. I happen to live in the area and they have zero notoriety and the sources of that article are all defunct. Thank you. Veddernarian (talk) 15:21, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest you read WP:NOTTEMPORARY and WP:NEXIST from our notability policy. The sources listed in the discussion are pretty compelling. 78.26 (spin me / revolutions) 15:54, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Will do. Thanks. Veddernarian (talk) 16:34, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
