Carlos Manuel Félix Moedas (born 10 August 1970) is a Portuguese civil engineer, economist and politician. He is a member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD). Moedas is the 78th Mayor of Lisbon since 2021.
From 2014 until 2019, Moedas was the European Commissioner covering the portfolio of Research, Science and Innovation under the leadership of President Jean-Claude Juncker.[2]
