Dolores Claman (July 6, 1927 – July 17, 2021) was a Canadian composer and pianist. She was best known for composing the theme song, known simply as The Hockey Theme, for Hockey Night in Canada, a song often thought as Canada's second national anthem.[1] She composed in 1968.
Claman died on July 17, 2021 from problems caused by dementia in Spain, almost two weeks after her 94th birthday.[2]
