Summary

[edit]

In his second season as manager Bob Dennison [1] avoided the relegation and reached the FA Cup 4th round. The season is best remembered by the debuts of Forwards Brian Clough[2] and Alan Peacock[3] after a good performance over the reserves. Meanwhile, veteran Jamaican Striker Lindy Delapenha[4] repeated as top club scorer with 18 goals.
