Barnabas Dejen Mondal (died 29 June 2019) was a Bangladeshi churchman who was the first moderator of the synod of the Church of Bangladesh, and the first bengali bishop of the Church of Bangladesh Diocese of Dhaka.[1] The Church of Bangladesh is a United Protestant denomination formed as a result of a merger between Anglican and Presbyterian denominations in the region.[2]

In 1965, he became the priest of Oxford Mission Church. He was consecrated as bishop in early 1975.[1]

Bishop Mondal died in a hospital in the capital Dhaka on 29 June 2019, at the age of 82.[3]
