[edit]Niels Geuking was appointed to a vacancy in the European Parliament caused by the resignation of his father Helmut Geuking, who nevertheless intends to seek re-election in 2024.[2][3] His father was elected but opted not to take the seat, so Niels Geuking stayed as MEP.
