Sofia Tornambene (born 12 September 2002), also known as Kimono, is an Italian singer.
She is best known for winning the thirteenth season of the Italian talent show X Factor.[1][2][3]
Biography

[edit]Sofia Tornambene was born in 2002 in Civitanova Marche.[2]
2019–2023: X Factor Italia and career debut
[edit]In February 2019 she participated at Sanremo Young and finished third.[2]
She won the thirteenth edition of the Italian version of the X Factor in December 2019 with her single "A domani per sempre", whiche entered the Italian singles chart.[3] She released her second single "Ruota panoramica" on 24 April 2020.[4] During summer, she recorded three acoustic songs ("Tra l'asfalto e le nuvole", "Finali imprevisti", "Fiori viola") at RCA Studio Sessions.[5]
On 10 December 2020, she launched her new single "Solo" performing live at the finale of the fourteenth edition of X Factor.[5] Her debut EP Dance Mania: Stereo Love was released on 15 October 2021 by Columbia and Sony Music.[6]
2023–present: Kimono
[edit]In 2023, after a two-year hiatus, she released two singles, "Tempesta" and "In ostaggio", under the name Kimono.[7] A third single, "Piena di se", was released on 19 April 2024.[8]
