Travis Corcoran is an American politician. He serves as a Republican member for the Hillsborough 44th district of the New Hampshire House of Representatives.[2]

Before his time in office, Corcoran was a prominent Internet personality, writing pseudonymously as "Clarkhat" on the Popehat group blog, which he left at the end of 2015.[3] Corcoran was the sole non-lawyer on the blog, known mostly for his distinct perspective as an anarcho-capitalist.

Leading up to his departure from the Popehat group blog, and shortly thereafter, Corcoran began to express extreme reactionary statements, mainly on Twitter. In January of 2016, speaking of the Norwegian white supremacist terrorist Anders Breivik, Corcoran called the victims "youth auxiliary of a communist party," making the murders no worse than "killing Hitler youth."[4] This was characteristic of the types of statements Corcoran made on a regular basis in this period.[5]

Corcoran also runs Morlock Publishing, a small science fiction press.[6] Under his official Twitter account for that press, he encouraged people to use racial epithets as a matter of principle.[7]
