License tagging for Image:Choun Nat.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Choun Nat.jpg. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 11:05, 18 May 2006 (UTC)

Please do not add nonsense to Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.

Additionally, can you provide a source for the UGA endowment number you changed? I can't find that information anywhere, and I plan to propose on the Talk page there that we remove that number completely.

Happy editing, but please try to stay within the guidelines. Thanks. --SuperNova |T|C| 06:30, 25 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Your comments Re: UGA[edit]

Vanarith,

While I had some trouble understand what, exactly, you were saying on my Talk page about the UGA endowment, I trust that you now know that the amount has been added back to the page, with a citation describing where to verify the information. In the future, when adding something to Wikipedia, it would help immensely for you to put where you found the information, rather than relying on others to look it up or just believe that whatever you say is accurate. If you have any more questions about this Wikipedia policy, please read WP:Cite. I'd be glad to try to answer any questions you have about how this works.

As for keeping information current, there are many of us trying to do just that. Please feel free to add information yourself, also -- provided, of course, that you cite your source! I hope I don't sound like too much of a broken record, but it's incredibly important that you do that or the quality of articles here will suffer.

Thanks for your help with Wikipedia. --SuperNova |T|C| 08:09, 2 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
