The 2023–24 season was AZ Alkmaar's 57th season in existence and second consecutive season in the Eredivisie. They also competed in the KNVB Cup and the UEFA Europa Conference League.

[edit]AZ entered the KNVB Cup in the second round; the draw was made on 4 November 2023.[9] On 21 December 2023, the draw was made for the round of 16.[citation needed] The draw for the quarter-finals was made on 20 January 2024.[10]
