Bharat Jakat Majhi Pargana Mahal is an Indian social organisation dedicated to socio education development,[1] socio philosophy development, socio economic development and socio cultural development[2] of the Santal community.[3]

Description[edit]

Bharat Jakat Majhi Pargana Mahal gained popularity in Bihar, Orissa, Jharkhand, West Bengal,[4] Assam of India as well as various parts of Bangladesh, Nepal, Australia, America.[5] The Majhi word means 'head of the village'. The Pargana is also a head post of the santal inhabited village. In short, this is a group of all 'Majhi', 'Godet', 'Naike', 'Pargana' and 'Paranik' of the Adivasi inhabited viilage and community around the world.
