The Central District of Zahedan County (Persian: بخش مرکزی شهرستان زاهدان) is in Sistan and Baluchestan province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Zahedan.[3]

At the National Census in 2006, its population was 577,898 in 114,552 households.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 587,156 people in 140,277 households.[5] At the latest census in 2016, the district had 628,219 inhabitants in 156,995 households.[2]
