[edit]History
[edit]Hitorie debuted under Hinichijou Records (非日常レコーズ) in 2012 as an indie band, and had their major debut under Sony Music Associated Records in 2014.[6][7] Since 2019, Shinoda (シノダ) has been the lead vocalist and guitarist for the group, succeeding previous frontman wowaka, who died on April 5, 2019, of acute heart failure.[8]
Wowaka was a Vocaloid producer. During his time in hitorie, he often performed his Vocaloid songs in live performances[9][10] which can be found on live albums and also did covers such as "Unknown Mother Goose"[11][12] and "Nichijou to Chikyuu no Gakubuchi".[13]
Shinoda (シノダ) was also a Vocaloid producer, using the pseudonym "Shoudouteki no Hito (衝動的の人)" (impulsive person) who wrote and sings his own arrangement of Touhou under the name "cakebox".[14] He was active as the guitarist of JONNY, Nagoya based band.[15]
Ygarshy (イガラシ) is also the support bassist of "Wasureranneyo (忘れらんねえよ) (Don't Forget)"[16] and was active in Touhou band "Sekken'ya (石鹸屋) (Soap Shop)".[17] He was a member of "JUDGEMENT" unit along with ichigo, the vocalist of "Kishida Cult", and providing music for "Nijigasaki Gakuen School Idol Club".[18]
Yumao (ゆーまお) is the support drummer of Pedro and was active in "yasashikute (優しくして♪) (be gentle)" and part of Kagerou Project.[19]
In 2021, "3 min 29 sec" (3分29秒) was used as the opening for the first season of the anime adaptation of 86. The song peaked at 22nd on the Oricon charts.[20]
Their song, "On the Frontline" was chosen as the opening to Mushoku Tensei season two, part 2. The song peaked at 28th on the Oricon charts.[21]
