Jeanette Maus was an American actress, producer, writer, director and voice actress.[1] She is known for her roles in films My Effortless Brilliance, The Stanford Letter, Dismissed, The Immaculate Conception of Little Dizzle and Charm City Kings.[2] She is best known for voicing Roxana, Doll and Cassandra Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village.[3]

Early life[edit]

Jeanette was born on June 14, 1981, in Everett, Washington, and raised near Lake Stevens. Later she went to Seattle and studied at Cornish College of the Arts. After she graduated from College with a degree in theater and she joined West Hollywood drama school John Rosenfeld Studios there she taught and coached many students during her nearly decade-long tenure with John Rosenfeld Studios.[2]

Then She worked in many industrial films and commercials and served as a spokesperson for Macy's. Then she also worked at DNA Studios where she was a student but later she became teacher at the Studios.[2]

She mentored several actors and actresses including Kerri Medders, Charlie Bushnell, Cameron Gellman, Quinn Lozar, Maggie Budzyna and Lisette Alexis at John Rosenfeld Studios.[1]

Career[edit]

After she completed her studies then she made her debut as an actress in film Frayed in 2007. Then she appeared in several movies and shorts films including Casting Call, Walking, Ask Me Anything and Your Sister's Sister.[4]

In 2008 she wrote film My Effortless Brilliance the film was directed by Lynn Shelton the film was screened at Maryland Film Festival in 2009.[5]

In 2014 She wrote short film Walking in which she also worked and in 2018 she produced and wrote short film Secret Island Adventure: Ripple One and later she wrote, directed and produced short film Je Suis Ici.[6]

In 2021 she appeared in film My Fiona which received positive reviews the film was directed and written by Kelly Walker the film was shown at the Mardi Gras Film Festival on February 23, 2021.[7]

The following year she was cast for the role of Cassandra Dimitrescu in Resident Evil Village. Jeanette voiced Cassandra in Maiden then later she voiced several more characters including Roxana and Doll in Resident Evil Village which made her popular among resident evil fans.[8]

Personal life[edit]

She was engaged to actor Dusty Warren and they also worked on screen. They met during the shooting of film Your Sister's Sister.[2]

Illness and death[edit]

Jeanette was diagnosed with colon cancer in April 2020. She started treatment but died in January 2021 at the age of 39 from complications due to the cancer. [9]
