Leighton Jones

Leighton Jones is a musician from Cardiff[citation needed] and appeared on the UK Voice talent show in 2016. [1]

Life & Career[edit]

As a youngster Leighton had a rare form of Leukemia and was saved by a bone marrow transplant from his brother, who was a match.

Leighton rose to national prominence in 2016 when he made the finals of The Voice for team Boy George.

As Boy George put it – Leighton Jones has ‘a voice that melts snow’.[2]

Before auditioning for the voice Leighton was already well known on the festival circuit, writing with some big names like Pino Palladino of THE WHO, supporting Bob Dylan for an audience of 160,000 people, and headlining Wembley.[3]
