Marathi cinema produces films in Marathi language. The 1988 film Ashi Hi Banwa Banwi was the first Marathi film to cross ₹1 crore.[1] The 1992 film Maherchi Sadi was the first Marathi film to cross ₹10 crores.[2] Me Shivajiraje Bhosale Boltoy is a first Marathi film grossed over ₹25 crore at the box office.[3] Natsamrat was the first Marathi film to cross ₹50 crores.[4] Sairat was the first Marathi film to cross ₹75 crores and ₹100 crores.[5]

The ABP Majha[13] is reported ₹60 crore and ETV Bharat News[14] figured ₹61 crore, while DNA India[15] reported the collection is around ₹75 crore.
