Look ^[1] is a 2009 short film written and directed by Ryan Pickett. The movie features Starina Johnson, John Ferguson, Theresa Meeker Pickett and Ryan Pickett.

This dream-inspired movie examines the emptiness that accompanies beauty. When a model walks into a restaurant, barmaid Emma begins to fantasize about her glamorous life and soon follows the model to the set of a photo shoot. Escapism is a short relief for Emma, who must eventually face her mundane life.

Look premiered at the Regal Cinemas theatre in Green Hills, Tennessee in Spring 2009.^[2] The short film was distributed on online video streaming services such as IndieFlix and Indiepix Films.^[9]

Look was directed, co-written, produced, and edited by Ryan Pickett. He was a top five finalist in the Race to BE entrepreneurship competition hosted by Russell Simmons in Los Angeles.^[10][11] Look was shot with the Red One 4K in Nashville, Tennessee.^[3]
