Menetou-Râtel (French pronunciation: [mɛntu ʁatɛl] ) is a commune in the Cher department in the Centre-Val de Loire region of France.
Geography
[edit]A winegrowing and farming area comprising the village and several hamlets situated some 26 miles (42 km) northeast of Bourges, at the junction of the D85, D86 and the D923 roads. The commune is one of only a few that can grow grapes for Sancerre AOC wine.
