From Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

Nana Kwame Bediako known as Freedom Jacob Caesar or Cheddar[1] is a Ghanaian businessman. He is the founder and chairman of Kwarleyz Group focused on real estate, finance and property management in West Africa.[2] Bediako is the developer of Wonda World Estate and the proposed Petronia City.[3][4][5] He is the founder of New Africa Foundation focusing on less fortunate children providing medical, nutritional and educational support.[6][7][8][9]

Education[edit]

Nana Kwame Bediako was born in Kumasi, Ghana. He attended Accra Academy before moving to Apam Senior High School. He studied business at the Waltham Forest College, United Kingdom.[6]

Business career[edit]

Bediako started his business career when his rich father gave him and his brother some money to help their mother who was broke. While his brother bought eggs and bread with the money, Bediako bought two hens and started a poultry business. The business grew and he sold 200 eggs a month. Once at the Waltham Forest College, UK, he started selling clothes to fellow students and within a short period he bought his first car with profits he made from the business.[10] Later he diversified his business to scrap metal collection and sales before venturing into telecommunication sector in 1999. He established a company which billed people for online transactions during the dotcom era. An India investor offered to buy the company with £327,000 but he declined on the advice of his lawyer. The investor later returned with an offer of £410,000 which he accepted. After adding the money to his savings, he realized that he had made his first million pounds[11] and thought that if he built a good company, he could make a lot of money.[12][13]

With his first million pounds in hand, he claimed that God told him to go to Africa and he returned to his home country, Ghana where he started Kwarleyz Group with diverse interests in real estate, finance[14] and property management.[15] The Kwarleyz Group is the developer of the Wonda World Estate[16] in Accra and the proposed Petronia City. The Kwarleyz Group has constructed 500 units of residential, commercial and industrial buildings.[17][18]

Political Activities[edit]

On 7 January 2024, Bediako announced that he would run as the candidate for the New Force movement. This followed weeks of speculation during which the New Force teased its fielding of a "masked" candidate who was widely expected to be Bediako. The announcement, which was due to take place at Black Star Square, was postponed after the presidential administration pulled the permit for the rally, citing "an unforeseen state event".[19]

Nana Kwame Bediako, also known as Freedom Jacob Caesar or Cheddar, is the driving force behind the New Force movement and is dedicated to boosting Ghana's industrialization. He is focused on helping young Ghanaians improve their economic status by emphasizing the importance of creating wealth and opportunities through industrial growth.

"I have been blessed with the gift and wisdom to not only make money but to build wealth. I am not going to keep this knowledge to myself, I want to share it with my people. It is more valuable than a small amount of money someone may give you to do something you don't want to do and can't even explain why you did it," stated Nana Kwame Bediako.[20]

The New Force[edit]

The New Force is a new movement formed in Ghana led by Nana Kwame Bediako.[21] The movement is a political stand that has grabbed the attention of Ghanaians.[citation needed] The New Force was founded by Nana Kwame Bediako. The movement seeks to create a new narrative in the political stands in Ghana. The movement is represented by a coalition of individuals, grass roots activists who are not comfortable with Ghana's economy.[citation needed]

Controversy swirled in the political arena over the mysterious 'Man in the Mask' and his lively 'The New Force' campaign, but it all came to a halt on Sunday, January 07, 2024 when Nana Kwame Bediako revealed himself as the mastermind.

In the business realm, he is known as Freedom Jacob Caesar, and he claims to be the new savior who will help Ghana and the entire African continent rebuild.

He made this announcement during a press briefing following the cancellation of the New African Foundation Convention that was scheduled to happen at the Independence Square in Accra.[22]
