Nicanor A. Bartolome (born March 16, 1957) is a Filipino retired police officer who served as the chief of the Philippine National Police.[1]

PNP Chief[edit]

On September 9, 2011, Bartolome was appointed as PNP Chief replacing General Raul Bacalzo. He was intendent to retire in 2013 but his term cut short[2] and turn into floating status,[3] in order to promote and appoint DDG Alan Purisima as the chief. Bartolome retired on December 18, 2012.[4][5][6]
