Patrick Leo Kenny-Gibson (born 19 April 1995) is an Irish actor known for his roles in The Tudors, The Passing Bells, The OA, The White Princess, Shadow and Bone, and Tolkien.[1][2] He was awarded Rising Star at the 2017 IFTAs.[3]

Early life and education[edit]

Gibson was born in Dublin.[4] His father is also an actor and his mother works in marketing. The family lived in Greystones, then Stillorgan, and later Donnybrook.[5] Gibson attended Gonzaga College.[6] He began his studies in Philosophy at Trinity College Dublin, but left halfway through his degree in 2016 upon being cast in The OA.[7][8]
