Róbert Polievka (born 9 June 1996) is a Slovak footballer who plays as a forward for Dukla Banská Bystrica in the Fortuna Liga.

Club career[edit]

FK Dukla Banská Bystrica[edit]

He made his professional debut for Banská Bystrica[1] against Košice on 12 July 2014.

FC DAC 1904 Dunajská Streda[edit]

On 20 June 2015, he signed a three-year contract with Dunajská Streda.[2]

International career[edit]

Polievka enjoyed his first senior national football team nomination under Francesco Calzona ahead of two home UEFA Euro 2024 qualifiers against Luxembourg and Bosnia and Herzegovina.[3] On 23 March 2023, Polievka made his international debut at Štadión Antona Malatinského against Luxembourg, featuring directly in the starting line-up. During the match, he had few scoring opportunities against Anthony Moris failing to convert them. He was replaced after 72 minutes of play with a goal-less score by Róbert Boženík. The match concluded in the same draw.[4][5] Erik Farkaš of Denník Šport rated him 3 out of 10 on his debut criticising lack of activity from Polievka as well as inadequate utilisation of his strengths by the rest of the team.[6]
