Reasonable Woman is the upcoming tenth studio album by Australian singer-songwriter Sia, expected to be released by Monkey Puzzle and Atlantic Records on 3 May 2024. The album was preceded by the singles "Gimme Love", "Dance Alone", "Incredible", "I Forgive You", "Fame Won't Love You", and features collaborations with several artists.

Background[edit]

In 2016, Sia released her album This Is Acting, which comprised mostly songs she had originally written for other artists.[2] In 2018, she formed the supergroup LSD with Labrinth and Diplo;[3] they released their debut album in April 2019.[4] In February 2020, Sia announced that she had two new albums "waiting to go",[5] one of which would be her version of the soundtrack to the film Music, a musical drama film which she wrote and directed.[6][7] Titled Music – Songs from and Inspired by the Motion Picture, it was released in February 2021 alongside the film.[8] In a 2020 interview with Zach Sang, Sia stated that the other album would be titled Reasonable Woman.[9]

Release and promotion[edit]

Reasonable Woman will be released through Monkey Puzzle and Atlantic Records on 3 May 2024.[10] It will be available on streaming, digital download, CD, and various vinyl LP variants. On 7 February 2024, Sia announced Reasonable Woman's release date and track listing.[11][12]

Singles[edit]

The album's lead single "Gimme Love" was released on 13 September 2023.[13] On 7 February 2024, the second single, "Dance Alone", a collaboration with Kylie Minogue, was released.[14] On 5 April 2024, the third single, "Incredible", a collaboration with Labrinth, was released.[15] The fourth single, "I Forgive You" followed a week later on 12 April 2024,[16][17] and the fifth single, "Fame Won't Love You", a Paris Hilton-assisted track, was released on 19 April.[18][19]

Artwork[edit]

The album's cover artwork features Sia sitting next to a young girl. Both are wearing pink bows in their hair, with Sia also wearing her signature curly, oversized wig.[20] The "original" artwork, which is featured on various physical releases of the album,[1] features Sia standing by a pool in an orange suit, with her feet, hands, and head covered in white, grey, and black shades.[2][21]
