Rodrigue Kwizera (born 10 October 1999)[1] is a Burundian long-distance runner.

Career[edit]

In 2017, Rodrigue Kwizera competed in the senior men's race at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Kampala, Uganda. He placed 39th.[2]

He competed in the senior men's race at the 2019 IAAF World Cross Country Championships held in Aarhus, Denmark, and finished in 11th place.[3] That year, he also represented Burundi at the 2019 African Games staged in Rabat, Morocco. He competed in the men's 5000 metres and placed 16th.[4][5] Kwizera finished 16th in the men's 10,000 metres at the 2019 World Athletics Championships held in Doha.[6]

He won the 2021–22 World Cross Country Tour.[7] He placed 16th in the 10,000 m at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Eugene, Oregon.[1]
