Saleh Shahr (Persian: صالح شهر), formerly Shahrak-e Shahid Chamran (شهرك شهيدچمران), also Romanized as Shahrak-e Shahīd Chamrān,[3] is a city in the Central District of Gotvand County, Khuzestan province, Iran.
At the 2006 census, its population was 7,347 in 1,401 households, when it was the village of Shahrak-e Shahid Chamran in Jannat Makan Rural District.[4] The following census in 2011 counted 7,779 people in 1,764 households,[5] by which time the village had been elevated to the status of a city and renamed Saleh Shahr.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 7,309 people in 1,814 households.[2]
