Shishavan (Persian: شيشوان)[a] was a village in, and the former capital of, Dizajrud-e Gharbi Rural District of the Central District of Ajab Shir County, East Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

Population

At the time of the 2006 National Census, the village's population was 3,074 in 850 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 3,737 people in 1,049 households.[2] Shishavan did not appear in the 2016 census.[6]
