Hello, I would kindly request that Template:Country data Eswatini have the following parameter altered from:

|redir2 = Swaziland

to

|related1 = Swaziland

and that the following three parameters be restored to the template as well:

|variant =
|shortname alias = Eswatini
|altvar =

These parameters were altered/removed in this edit by Andrwsc during his ill fated edit across these related country data templates that broke the functionality of Template:Country data Eswatini with Template:flagcountry to no longer be able to display "Swaziland" in the historical context. This restored functionality will be akin to the current functionality of Template:Country data Myanmar and Template:Country data Burma (using Template:Country data Myanmar/doc to display template usage to its users).

Note: I have already restored Template:Country data Eswatini/doc to its previous state, in preparation of these requested edits to these two pages.

@Alex 21: Whoops! Above that should have read:

|shortname alias = {{{shortname alias|Eswatini}}}

Please create template armed forces link to Umbutfo Eswatini Defence Force (probably by creating the parameter |link alias-military=, to result in {armed forces|Eswatini}})

Addition of two variant flags. One from 1890, another from 1894.

 Completed – these had to be added to {{Country data Eswatini}}, which is then transcluded to {{Country data Swaziland}}. There is still a difference, for example:

• {{flag|Eswatini|1890}} →  Eswatini
• {{flag|Swaziland|1890}} →  Swaziland
