Template talk:Housing associations in London

From Wikipedia the free encyclopedia

Suggested repurpose[edit]

Hi, this navbox was no doubt well-intended, but there are very many housing associations with some stock in London. Go to http://portal.tenantservicesauthority.org/ and click the button for Town, then enter London and search at to see what I mean. Or this link; the entries with type = Letting or Stock Transfer are housing associations. Many notable associations do not yet have articles in Wikipedia.

I suggest that this template should be repurposed as the G15, which is a (self-)defined coalition of (according to Inside Housing) London's largest associations: see http://www.g15.org.uk/index.html and http://www.g15.org.uk/members.html . Only 3 have articles so far; a G15 template would be a prompt to create the remaining 12.

Or perhaps list 3 sections: the G15 largest, National associations in London, and Local associations.

By all means, this is just a start. (Have to start somewhere!) Thanks for your suggestion. Let's have three sections. As you say, this will be a prompt to start articles on the other HAs. --Redaktor (talk) 09:44, 15 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Good work! I've listed the others as a group at Wikipedia:Requested articles/Business and economics#Non-profits. - Fayenatic (talk) 20:21, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]
