I wonder what's the value of this template?[edit]

I don't know where to start. The selection is absolutely incomplete, random, and biased toward the three largest cities. Some venues may have music performances as sole purpose, others may have it on their agenda (but just among other performances). What's the value of mixing shady night clubs with classical concert halls? Or centuries old venues with temporary venues, most likely to be closed sometime soon?

One thing that may work, would be to separate this template into 16 templates for the 16 states. Each state's ministry of culture has venues it supports; state-funded venues may be a start to select venues. Another way could be to separate this template into opera houses, (classical) concert halls, and venues for rock & pop music performances. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.43.2.20 (talk) 17:49, 4 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
