Template color change[edit]

Hi Charlesaaronthompson regarding the removal of the blue color. That was to match the PRCA blue color. I'm not changing it back yet, but I would like to know the thought process. Did you think the text was to hard to read on it? If so, can a better color blue be used instead? Or was it something else? Thanks! dawnleelynn(talk) 01:09, 3 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@Dawnleelynn: Initially, I removed the blue color because it failed to meet WP:CONTRAST guidelines. However, I have now updated the HEX color code & restored the blue color to the background of the template, per this edit diff. The official PRCA color codes are found at the PRCA's official Brand Guide, which is found here. Charlesaaronthompson (talk) 06:30, 3 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Charlesaaronthompson: It looks much better now! The text is easier to read. And I definitely want to be in compliance. Is there any way to make the box more narrow? Or are we stuck because the article names are so long? I created this template because the person who created the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) template for us got blocked for infinity. It's my first one so I am still learning.
A second question. Would you mind taking a look at the PBR template? Perhaps we should make sure it is in compliance too. The template is here: Template:Professional Bull Riders series. The creator says he picked the color based on this logo here: [1]. No obligation here.
Thanks a bunch for the ProRodeo fixes. dawnleelynn(talk) 16:09, 3 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
