Template talk:Sex differences in humans

Question[edit]

Is is intended that "human group differences" applies to any & all division of humans into "groups" eg. differences between Men & Women, or Believers & Non-Believers, or Heterosexual & Non-heterosexual? Because that really seems to me to be what this template is being used for, and it doesn't seem to jibe with the use of the phrase elsewhere. Pete.Hurd (talk) 16:17, 11 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

I think that could be interesting to add social strata to the types of groups, perhaps nationality too. --Extremophile (talk) 18:58, 5 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comment[edit]

Having looked at a few pages -- this category is generally a collection of mis-adventures in science. That's to put it lightly. While I think the content in the category is worth keeping, it should be edited down, as it's more important the reader knows the experiment was a failure (racialism), and a few key elements, than the entire history of the experiment (and its subsequent fall from credibility). Anthropology and human biology citations list[edit]

You may find it helpful while reading or editing articles to look at a bibliography of Anthropology and Human Biology Citations, posted for the use of all Wikipedians who have occasion to edit articles on human genetics and related issues. I happen to have circulating access to a huge academic research library system at a university with an active research program in these issues (and to other academic libraries in the same large metropolitan area) and have been researching these issues sporadically since 1989. You are welcome to use these citations for your own research. You can help other Wikipedians by suggesting new sources through comments on that page. It will be extremely helpful for articles on human genetics to edit them according to the Wikipedia standards for reliable sources for medicine-related articles, as it is important to get these issues as well verified as possible. -- WeijiBaikeBianji (talk, how I edit) 05:26, 23 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Cleaned up template[edit]

This template appears to be a magnet for agenda accounts. I've cleaned up much of the duplication and various non-group related entries. Hopefully this is an improvement. aprock (talk) 19:03, 4 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Human group differencesTemplate:Sex differences in humans – This template solely refers to sex differences in humans. The title 'Human group differences' as stated in above comments is confusing and could conceivably refer to a large number of differences (religion, occupation, geographic, genetic, ethnic, sexuality, ...). This template should be moved to reduce its scope and decrease any inevitable future confusion. --Relisted. Discussion[edit]

Any additional comments:
  • Comment for most of the history of this template, it covered more than just gender differences. -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 08:50, 26 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Adding a topic[edit]

At the same time as requesting a move, as the scope of this article (and its current title) are "Sex differences in humans", I would like to add a link to Sexual differentiation in humans, as it is a very relevant topic. However the template in its current form looks very good and I'm reticent to touch it. Would another user be able to suggest where to add this link in a visually-appealing manner? --LT910001 (talk) 21:26, 16 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
