List of shopping centres[edit]

I think this template could link to List_of_Shopping_Centres_in_Australia_by_size.Bramley (talk) 11:40, 22 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Floor area- Super-Regional, Major Regional, Regional, Sub Regional...etc.[edit]

To make things easier, to determine what a shopping centre classifies, we will be using this resource: "Shopping Centres in Australia 2001 Vital statistics which explains how Australian shopping centres are graded. I'll be re-grading the template ASAP :) -- MelbourneStar☆ (talk) 13:38, 18 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

When I modified this table into categories a little while ago, I used this page as my resource: Property Council of Australia - Shopping Centre Directories - Definitions (Dec 20 2007). I based the categories mostly on gross leasable area. --Lakeyboy (talk) 13:53, 22 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I just compared them, they seem the same so I guess we could use either :) Whatever is easier to use, shall do. -- MelbourneStar☆ (talk) 11:57, 23 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If someone's interested in a more complete listing[edit]

This was from January 2012. It does contain red links. This will hopefully prompt others to compile the missing pages. 59.167.126.21 (talk) 22:24, 4 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's fine to have on the talk page. But it can't go in the actual template, per WP:N and WP:RED. -- MSTR (Chat Me!) 01:29, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The Glen promoted to super-regional?[edit]

Currently [as of July 2019] the Glen is considered a Major Regional.

With the fourth and fifth stages of redevelopment [later in 2019 and then in mid-2020] - which will make it the second largest shopping centre in metropolitan Melbourne - will it then have status as a super-regional?
