Draft:Army of the Dead (franchise)[edit]

Yyyyyy. Well the formating in Critical response isn't unnecessary. It looks better with it man. But whatever I guess. Derjenigederzukunftseht (talk) 20:23, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

DisneyMetalhead keeps creating low quality articles for film series. He repeatedly chooses to ignore the rules, lots of different small rules, nothing major. Look at his talk page, see the many things he has been asked not to do, he has not learned from them. Then people approve his draft articles. Then we end up with articles that are ignoring the rules and other people think they should copy bad examples.
Your username Derjenigederzukunftseht claims to be able to see the future, but please take a look at the past and learn from MOS:BOLD and MOS:SMALLFONT and learn why we should be trying to use less formatting not more of it. Also WP:PROSE we should be trying to write more meaningful prose not lists and tables, which these franchise article do too much of. It is absolutely heading in the wrong direction. -- 109.78.194.208 (talk) 21:43, 3 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Rating tables[edit]

Do not remove the rating tables. They were a part of a discussion, and it is allowed to be used. You cited a long ago discussion using a different template; times have changed. There's a reason WP:VG used to errr about them, but now nearly all game articles uses them. GeraldWL 01:11, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

What discussion where. Please link to it. -- 109.78.194.208 (talk) 01:26, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
You can look at User talk:Bovineboy2008 and search for my name using Crtl+F. Also, see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Film and discuss there (there's alr a section) instead of edit warring. It isn't an "agreement" you might look for, but it clearly shows how times have changed and old discussions don't matter much. GeraldWL 01:43, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This is not a video game article. Less than handful of film articles actually use {{Film ratings}} as can be seen from the template |parameter usage report (for example, click on the "RT (page links)" to see how many article use the template and include Rotten Tomatoes as one of the links in the table).
I would provide links to the old discussions if I had been able to find them, as I said previously on your talk page. I don't know why pointed to BovineBoy's talk page, the only relevant point is that BovineBoy said it might be worth reopening the discussion and then Geraldo started a discussion about Ratings tables at at Project film: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Film#Rating_table
That discussion has barely started. There certainly isn't any consensus yet. -- 109.78.194.208 (talk) 02:40, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
"Less than handful of film articles actually use {{Film ratings}}" is not a good argument, let's be clear. GeraldWL 02:46, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Update: let's just move to the WikiProject talk so that everyone can see. GeraldWL 02:55, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
(Edit conflict) As I've already already said the main issue is WP:PROSE. You might think my argument is WP:OTHERSTUFFDOESNTEXIST but saying look at what the best articles do, look at the Featured articles.
Please continue your |discussion at Project Film. If you can get a consensus there then the matter will be settled, but it hasn't been settled yet. --- 109.78.194.208 (talk) 03:00, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
