Links to draft articles[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce links in actual articles to draft articles, as you did to Don C. Talayesva. Since a draft is not yet ready for the main article space, it is not in shape for ordinary readers, and links from articles should not go to a draft. Such links are contrary to the Manual of Style. These links have been removed. Thank you. - Arjayay (talk) 11:05, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, wasn't aware of that guideline. Thanks for letting me know. I will wait for the draft to be reviewed. AnonQuixote (talk) 12:45, 18 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Notice that you are now subject to an arbitration enforcement sanction[edit]

The following sanction now applies to you:

You are banned from editing or discussing anything to do with the post-1932 American politics topic area (WP:AP2) for 3 months, broadly construed.

You have been sanctioned per a complaint at the AE noticeboard. Clearly you have not heeded the warning issued in that AE report, especially that "greater care is expected."

This sanction is imposed in my capacity as an uninvolved administrator under the authority of the Arbitration Committee's decision at WP:ARBAP2#Final decision and, if applicable, the procedure described at Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee/Discretionary sanctions. This sanction has been recorded in the log of sanctions. If the sanction includes a ban, please read the banning policy to ensure you understand what this means. If you do not comply with this sanction, you may be blocked for an extended period, by way of enforcement of this sanction—and you may also be made subject to further sanctions.

You may appeal this sanction using the process described here. I recommend that you use the arbitration enforcement appeals template if you wish to submit an appeal to the arbitration enforcement noticeboard. You may also appeal directly to me (on my talk page), before or instead of appealing to the noticeboard. Even if you appeal this sanction, you remain bound by it until you are notified by an uninvolved administrator that the appeal has been successful. You are also free to contact me on my talk page if anything of the above is unclear to you.  El_C 00:18, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have appealed this decision at Wikipedia:Arbitration/Requests/Enforcement#Arbitration_enforcement_action_appeal_by_AnonQuixote. AnonQuixote (talk) 01:39, 20 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Arbitration enforcement action appeal[edit]

AnonQuixote, your arbitration enforcement action appeal has been declined at Special:Permalink/1001789570 § Arbitration enforcement action appeal by AnonQuixote. Please review the policy on consensus, the guideline on disruptive editing, and the guide to dispute resolution, which outline some of the expectations for editing Wikipedia articles in controversial topic areas. — Newslinger talk 10:19, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is blatantly unfair. I have decided to stop editing Wikipedia as I believe it is not worth dealing with this toxicity. Congratulations on driving away yet another contributor. AnonQuixote (talk) 11:37, 21 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
LOL
Toxicity was indeed the problem. Jibal (talk) 02:29, 12 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Username[edit]

Just as a note, I closed that AN discussion that involved a (very brief) discussion of your username. Those who commented (and myself) felt that your username is closer to "Don Quixote" than anything QAnon related, so I do not think you must rename your account (unless you want to, of course).
